The easiest and quickest way to provide you contact details to be entered into the system is by completing the simple online form below.
Please note that if you include a mobile number, it will be assumed you agree to receive SMS text messages. This is the quickest, most effective and most direct communication.
By registering it is also assumed you wish to receive Severe Weather Alerts.
It is best to provide one name as the main contact. If there are two email addresses and two mobile phones used, say, and the owners are likely to be going there separate ways, such as one working and the other at home or also working, individual registrations may be desirable.

Mangrove Alerts Community Service ("MACS") is committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully.
MACS will under no circumstances divulge or sell your personal information to a third party. We may, however, disclose it to Rural Fire Service, Fire Brigade officers or other agencies where we believe this would be in your personal safety interests.
Terms & Conditions
Whilst MACS and EWN endeavour to provide a service of a high quality, no such system can claim to be completely accurate or failsafe. For that reason, if you subscribe to this alert service you acknowledge and accept that:
- reasonable endeavours will be taken to provide alerts to subscribers at the earliest opportunity
- the messaging media utilised is neither real-time nor instantaneous
- this service cannot be solely and wholly relied upon and other media such as radio should be monitored to inform of potential events
- you are responsible for updating your registered contact details, if and when they change
- expressly agree that MACS and EWN will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered incurred or sustained by you in connection with this alert service. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss or damage arising from the failure or delay in warning you of an event, provision of an alert that warns of an event that fails to materialise, the interpretation of the magnitude or severity of an event, and any inaccuracies in the predictions of the location of an event.
